UK transgender patients turn to crowdfunding due to massive delays

Like thousands of other transgender people in the UK, Jay and Alexis are on waiting lists for gender confirming surgeries. But with Covid-19 exacerbating already years-long patient queues in the state-run National Health Service, they are now turning to crowfunding to finance their operations in the private sector.
