Party continues in Mexico’s Cancun amid the pandemic

Tourists revel in nightclubs in the beach resort of Cancun amid the coronavirus pandemic, as Mexico, unlike other countries, has not restricted tourism and was the third most visited country in 2020. In early March, 44 Argentine high school students tested positive for Covid-19 after returning from Cancun, having submitted false negative PCR tests before boarding their plane to Buenos Aires.
