Collision course: Nigerian movie explores impact of police brutality

Hundreds of people march in Colombia's capital Bogota on Sunday to demand justice for victims of police brutality, after the recent death of Javier Ordonez while in custody sparked three nights of violent protests.

Hundreds of people block one of the main highways in Lagos, demanding that officials follow through on an announcement that the feared Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) police unit be scrapped.

The discussion is centered on the disbandment of the special anti-robbery squad by the IGP of the Nigerian Police Force.

Crowds took to the streets again in Nigeria's largest cities on Monday in protest against police brutality. Rights group Amnesty International said five people had died since the start of the weekend, bringing the death toll to 15 since demonstrations erupted earlier this month.
