DeGeneres opened about her traumatic experience on an unaired episode of ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman.’ The episode will air on Friday when season two of the show premieres on Netflix. In the episode, DeGeneres revealed that when she was an adolescent, her stepfather used her mother's breast cancer diagnosis as an excuse to assault her.
