Kenya is preparing to burn Africa's biggest ever stockpile of poached ivory -- a total of 105 tonnes from 8,000 elephants -- in a symbolic move aimed at raising awareness of the plight of elephants and sending traffickers a clear message that the illegal trade will not be tolerated.
