If the opinion polls are right, Australian Labor Party leader Bill Shorten is poised to become the country's seventh prime minister in 12 years, after elections on Saturday. Voters look set to punish the ruling Liberal-National coalition, after a series of leadership changes that mirror the bloodletting of Labor's earlier term in power.
