Global pandemic takes video games success to the next level

The gaming industry has seen sales hit records in recent weeks. In March, when much of the world went into lockdown, global sales approached $1.6 billion – a 35 percent increase on the same period last year. To talk more about the impact of Covid-19 on the gaming industry, Eve Jackson speaks to Andres Perez-Duarte of New York-based, BAFTA-nominated, award-winning studio iNK Stories and Declan Cassidy from Into Games – the UK-based non-profit that runs "Side Quest", which supports young people wanting a gaming career.
